ABOUT KIDS ON
STAGE : Grades 6 - 12
Spend your summer in the spotlight! This summer's show will be the Broadway play,

ABOUT THE TWEEN SPECIALTY CAMPS: Grades 6 - 8
WEEK 1: IMPROV COMEDY:
Give your imagination a blast of spontaneity! Learn the basic rules of improvisational comedy and then put them to use playing performance games (similar to "Whose Line Is It Anyway?")
WEEK 2: MUSICAL THEATER:
Here the performance elements of musical theater are examined. Through the use of group numbers, duets or solos and scenes, students work on their vocal skills while learning how to act through a song.
WEEK 3: ACTING INTENSIVE:
Through the use of monologues and scene work, students work on gaining and deepening their acting skills. Focus will be on the use of given circumstances, playing objectives, using conflicts and obstacles and identifying the needs of a character.
WEEK 4: ACTING FOR FILM & TELEVISION:
This on camera course will teach students about the TV
commercial and the TV / film industry. By working on camera each week,
students
will learn how to prepare for the commercial audition
and how to approach written material for TV and Film (while also exploring choice, size and physicality in front of the camera).

Unlock the passions of
Shakespeare’s characters by cracking the secret code he left in the text. By
analyzing the verse structure, students will learn to “score” the copy for
